🚩 Report: Copyright infringement

This repository distributes LoRAs extracted from my models (Serendipity V1/V2, Solstice V1/V2, Soliloquy V1/V2) without my authorisation.

These models were fine-tuned using my original photography. Their license explicitly prohibits unauthorised redistribution, rehosting, or modification of the model weights. Extracting and repackaging the LoRA components does not circumvent this restriction.

I am requesting the immediate removal of all files derived from my work. If this content is not removed, I will be filing a formal DMCA takedown request with Hugging Face.

Dear Raxephion,

Thank you for reaching out. I take intellectual property rights and licensing terms very seriously. However, I believe there is a fundamental misunderstanding regarding both the KREA 2 License Agreement and the nature of the files in my repository.

I respectfully dispute your claim, and I will not be removing the repository, for the following reasons:

  1. The KREA 2 License Explicitly Permits Derivatives:
Your model card states that the model is subject to the "KREA 2 Community License Agreement". Section 2.1 of this license explicitly grants users the right to "create Derivatives of, make modifications to, and generate Outputs from the Krea Model". A LoRA is universally recognized in this ecosystem as a Derivative Model. The license does not prohibit the creation or distribution of derivatives; it expressly permits it.

  2. Nature of a Differential LoRA:
My repository does not contain, redistribute, or rehost your checkpoint weights. It contains a differential LoRA, which consists solely of the mathematical delta (weight differences) between the base Krea 2 model and your fine-tune. It does not contain your original weights, nor does it contain any copyrighted photographic images. Distributing a mathematical delta of a model released under a permissive derivative license is not "unauthorized redistribution" of your weights; it is the creation of a new, distinct derivative work, which is fully compliant with the upstream license.

  3. DMCA Requirements and Misrepresentation:
The DMCA (17 U.S.C. Β§ 512) is designed to protect specific, verifiable copyrighted works (e.g., specific photographs), not abstract mathematical weight differences derived from a model that explicitly allows derivatives. Furthermore, filing a DMCA takedown notice requires a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by law. Filing a DMCA claim while ignoring the explicit derivative permissions of the KREA 2 license could be considered a misrepresentation under 17 U.S.C. Β§ 512(f), which carries legal liability. Hugging Face also requires DMCA claimants to identify the exact copyrighted work infringed and the specific location of the infringement, not blanket claims over "model weights".

If your concern is purely about attribution, I am happy to include author information in the README file. However, if you proceed with a DMCA takedown request based on the current claims, I will promptly file a DMCA Counter-Notice with Hugging Face, citing the KREA 2 Community License Agreement's explicit permission for derivative works, and I will be prepared to defend my rights.

I hope we can resolve this matter constructively without escalating to platform moderation or legal threats.
