Aimpoint Labs
Aimpoint Labs is our AI product development and experimentation arm. We work with companies and university partners to research, develop, and deploy applications of traditional and generative AI. Current focus areas:
- Generative AI & LLMs: understanding why these models behave the way they do, including pre-training, fine-tuning, RLHF/DPO, and agentic systems
- AI Research: transformer training dynamics and open-source packages built with academic partners
- Reinforcement Learning: from model deployment to multi-task RL
- AutoML: using meta-machine learning, including RL-driven hyperparameter search, to improve standard ML
- Quantum Machine Learning: prototyping new ways to combine ML with quantum computing
